On the Morning Show this Week

I just heard confirmation that I will be a guest on The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet this Thursday. I believe it airs on the Fox Network here in the US. The show starts at 9:00 am EST, not sure how that works out for the rest of the country. And for you Swedes and Brits, you since the cultural domination has been completed, you will have to wait and see if it gets up on YouTube or something.

I believe Alan Chambers will also be on the show, so yes, the topic will be the ex-gay movement and not my newest vegan pesto recipe. (Although I will try to slip it in). It is a live show, so always room for pesto.

So I guess this means that the “September Collapse” wasn’t hitting bottom yet with the media whore addiction.

    OK. Understood.

    Yours in recovery!

You have to promote Tartex while there too. I have seen so many youtube-clip of you in national TV and not ONCE (not ONCE!!!!) have you promoted tartex.
Even if you have got yourself new love – I think you should give Tartex some sort of.. recognition..

So how did the media tart get on then? Famous yet? 😉

Daniel, I will smear Tartex on my collar as a homage but I don’t want to create an international crisis with the sudden increased demand for Tartex. Our military is already overstretched.

Great story: I walk into my fraternity’s kitchen and the Mike and Juliet show is on– and there’s about 15 people crammed in the room watching.
Everyone had some not-very-nice words for the “ex-gay”– and some hilarious but sad words about his wife, who was clutching his hand in a vice-grip the whole time.
Then you were on! And I told everyone, hey, that guy was at Colgate a while back.

Your oil-change comment was very well received.

    Good luck, Peterson.

Folks in Portland were certainly glad to see you, last time you showed here.

Well I wish you could be with us in October (Gay History Month). Artwork from my animation-in-progress will be showing at the Q Center, and I’ll be giving a dramatic monologue based upon “Song of Myself” during the reception, Oct 5. The following First Day (er, that’s Sunday to the “world’s people”), I’ll deliver an in-depth lecture of the nexus between gay history and Quaker history.

You keep on keepin on and on and on and on and on and on.

    changin lives. making change.

    living proof

despite the fact that we kinda live in a culture, country, world which readily promotes a sense of cynicism and lethargy…

we must, yes…we must understand that our holding fast to the passions which push our eyes open at sunrise, and sing our sleepy heads to sleep is never futile. these things are never in vain.

people like peterson amaze us all because they seem to truly recognize a very intrinsic truth…that this unpackageable, unyielding, beautiful, wickedly humbling, bold, and intangible thing called love is how to walk…how to speak….how to act…how to sing, how to smile, how to dream, how to share, how to duel, and dance…how to burst halo-crested head first into the pits of the lost…into the homes of the found…into the rage of the lions roar, and into the arms of the once and forever hug….

someone like peterson comes into your life.

    and they change it forever.

because they let a bit of their shine spill over onto your path…to see a lil bit better, at all the right times.

    thank u

Great job Peterson… kind of made me sad in some ways. But my real question is… how much work had the guy in the middle had done on his face – he barely had any facial expression!! 🙂

    Hey Peterson!

Good show! I think you made some really, really good points. And, heck, ya looked great doing it! It is interesting the comments that come from my straight friends after watching the segment. Alan’s message, even tailored to fit the audience, was not very well received. Your dad’s JiffyLube comment had me rolling!

    Thanks Alex for the link!

Mitch, I’ve been talking to some friends about a return to Portland sometime in the next 6 months.

Tonya, no problems, that’s why we have YouTube.

Auntie Doris, what can I say?

Morgan Fox–You crazy! and I love you for that.

    Ananymous–Ha, how cool is that.

Jonathan, glad you like my dad’s humor. One day I should do a whole show just about him. he is a riot.
