Marvin’s BIG Announcement

Since our trip to Sweden, Marvin has not quite been the same. I was unaware of all the big changes going on in his life until about two weeks ago when we met up for lunch. Turns out he burst forth some good news to share with me, but he made me promise to be quiet about it until he was ready to say it in his own words. As so often happens with Marvin, good news becomes, well, not bad, but not quite good either.

See for yourself and give Marvin some comments to help him on his journey.

Oh, and I retired Homo No Mo just in time! Now you can see, Straight to Heaven, an ex-gay parody in musical form that was presented at the GCN–Gay Christian Network Conference 2007. Hilarious!

Oh, and it gets better. Here is a clever little video of a Jewish gay guy coming out straight to his mother. She doesn’t take it very well.

Marvin may very well be my favorite character anywhere. He’s like a combination of Woody Allen and Ted Haggard -what’s not to love?

    Wow! Welcome out, Marvin!

*giggle* I watched the first few moments of Straight to Heaven. I nearly snorted wine out of my nose at the line “I think of God, not Gaynor when I hear someone say ‘Gloria'” I may be in trouble next time I go to St Albans Abbey.

    Marvin is marvelous…love the hair.

Straight to Heaven…I lost it when God spoke, it was perfect.

I must confess, Marvin, that I liked you better in the closet and ex-gay. This Christian gay stuff doesn’t seem to suit you very well, unlike that gray, moppish number of a hairdo that you now sport.

BTW, if you never go to bathhouses, how do you ever see Peterson?

Having seen that video I have come to the conclusion that Marvin may be the love-child of Bernie Ecclestone.

    Auntie D.,

Yes, you’re so right – love child indeed! 🙂

    auntie doris, scary!
Marvin tells me that now that he has come out gay, he decided he would let his hair be its natural gray. Who would have thought his hair would have been better ex-gay :-p
