Thanks for the phone message and the rebuking of me in Jesus’ Name. Well, you didn’t quite state that, but mentioning how I am “backsliddin” was close enough.
BTW, please include LA in your demon extermination prayers because my gal-pal Teresa keeps wanting to get more plastic surgery to be like the Borg!

Marvin, I think there is some truth in your statements, and I welcome your prayers for me…however you determine to intercede.
I know that I have been in religious circles, however, where there is a demon lurking under every carpet fiber, and I think that can create a sense of fear rather than a sense of security that Jesus has conquered all of those principalities on Calvary.
That being said, I pray that you live in freedom, Marvin, being who you are and loving both yourself and Christ to the core of your soul. I ask that you consider not using tactics of anxiety to drive people to Jesus’ feet because he is not a God of fear, but love…

Hey Marvin… I’m glad that praying the way you describe brings you peace. Oooops, now that I think of it, did you say that it brings you peace? I suspect that doing the same would make me anxious and paranoid.
I guess I’m more in tune with what Jesus said in John 14 – Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.
