It’s Just not Natural!

Polyester and Cool Whip® are not natural either, but do we seek a constitutional amendment banning them?

Actually homosexual sexual behavior exists widely in nature–dolphins, penguins and countless other species regularly practice gay sex.

Beyond the sex (which is really the sticky part for conservatives) we have the documented fact that some species form same-sex unions, co-habitating and even adopting young.

Homosexuality is a fact of nature.

Of course if homosexuality exists in the animal world, converstatives will argue, that we should not live like animals.

But maybe we should look to animals for some of our moral codes. Animals rarely kill for sport and never wage war on each other.

Even so, for our personal moral codes, I say, let’s not look to nature, or books, leaders, government or churches. Rather in careful contemplation, let us look within and determine for ourselves who we are and what is natural for each of us. Even if it means we act like a bunch of animals.

Plastic isn’t natural, but doctors use it to save lives, transplanting hearts and other organs. Why don’t we worry too much about that? Plastic isn’t even biodegradable, so it exists essentially forever. Why are people so fearful of social issues like homosexuality and not the environmental ones, like the lack of fresh water or clean air, or the increase in poverty around the world as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Lots of conservatives think that there is nothing wrong with that, but they say there is something wrong with homosexuality. I say it’s all a bunch of bullshit in the end.

It is a known fact in the scientific world that all humans and animals are “free sexually” we are free to associate sex with anything. So calling a human or animal gay is amusing, and not true.
Their was a story a while back that just had a followup not too long ago where penguins of the same sex were mating and their were people who didn’t want the penguins to be introduced to females in fear of humans trying to change gay penguins.
Which is hilarious and crazy but true. But anyway one of those penguins had to stay with a doctor overnight and the doctor caught the male penguin trying to mate with a female dog. It would be funny to see the response to the people who thought that penguin was gay a month before. Is that penguin “inter-species sexual”? Or “free sexually”?

Also note that animals are known to have sex with things like objects to other species.

The “Not Natural” argument is a smoke screen, when you come right down to it. Plenty of things are not natural, but perfectly acceptable. When they say “it’s not natural” what they mean is: “it’s different to what I wish to consider Normal, and I don’t like it.”

It’s a simple as that. Sad but true.

Not natural is just another term for disorder in this case. In this case it’s a mate selection disorder.
