Peterson returns to Belfast and will use comedy and storytelling to unpack LGBTQ-Friendly Bible stories, share his own bizarre gay journey, and reveal Queer responses to climate change.

Tue Oct 2 Belfast 7.30pm Spectrum gathering at Agápē Centre. Peterson will share some of his own personal journey that led him in and out of conversion therapy. Hear how he not only escape ex-gay ministries and came out gay, but how he came out as himself–a quirky, queer, Quaker concerned with art and justice. Thur Oct 4 Belfast 7:30 — All Souls Church, Belfast, Transfigurations–LGBTQ Friendly Bible stories. Peterson will reveal the many Bible stories that mirror LGBTQ experiences of coming out, alternative family, transformation, and more. Sun 7 October 6:00 PM Belfast — The Hive 15-17 Grosvenor Road BT12 4GN — A Queer Response to Climate Change: What Would Walt Whitman Do?  Comic and LGBTQ activist Peterson Toscano takes on the biggest issue of them all–global warming–and does so with humor, heart, and with a view to saving the humans. Drawing on his hilarious characters, Peterson makes connections between LGBTQ issues, environmental justice, and climate change.
