How I survived gay conversion therapy
just in time to save the heterosexuals
Join us for a delightful evening in the heart of Phoenix, enjoying the casual atmosphere and delicious food of the Phoenix Public Market Cafe while Peterson Toscano presents a ridiculously serious comedy about LGBTQ issues, cancer, the Bible, and Climate Change (which somehow he connects all together!). Peterson uses tragedy in his comedy to provide hope and promote social justice. Personally he spent nearly 20 years in gay conversion therapy programs, and since coming out gay has spent the past 12 years traveling around North America and Europe with original one-person comedies with a focus on human rights.
Who is Peterson Toscano? A performance artist, comic, character actor, and human rights activist. Check out this recent public radio profile on Peterson and his work.
