Silliness and excess aside, I can honestly declare that watching Downton Abbey serves as genuinely research directly benefiting my performance work. As part of my weekly Climate Stew program, I created my very own four minute Downton Abbey spoof. I get to play with multiple accents and styles and even bring in the Dowager Countess.
