We too recognize Peterson’s gifts for ministry and are thankful for his tender sensitivity to abiding in the present Christ. We pray a continued blessing on him and on his attendance to the Spirit, wherever he travels and in all that he does. We thank you for sharing this truth-teller and seed-planter. Peterson’s kindness in coming to perform with little notice, at a time when our meeting was working with transgender issues, was indeed a blessing. We at Adelphi appreciate his generosity and skill in communicating important information in an accessible and moving way.

On November 21, 2008, our meeting hosted Peterson performing excerpts from his show as our first-ever outreach effort. We are grateful for the opportunity to welcome spiritual seekers with Peterson’s warmth, humor, and message of integrity. His ministry enabled us to broaden ours. In the Light,

Peterson graced William Penn House with his humor, his passion and his leading to share his journey of self and faith. 47 Friends and friends gathered on this Tuesday evening and did not want to leave. His ministry was shared with Friends from at least 6 monthly meetings. Friends traveled from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. His stories were poignant, insightful, touching, real and full of joy and sadness. We hear truth we are enriched.
